Have Your Morning Cuppa with the Five Tibetans

By: Leah Shannon

Here’s something to try over the weekend. It takes 10 minutes and awakens your chakras. Whether you believe in chakras and the very interesting mythology of the rites or not – I can assure you of one thing. The ten minutes you spend will energize you. The rush is as addicting as caffeine. Try it. In a box, with a fox, with a mouse, in a house. Then thank me later.

The video below shows each rite repeated 12 times for demonstration but the prescribed repetition is 21. One good tip for the first rite until you get used to spinning without getting nauseous is to look at your middle finger while spinning. When you stop, keep looking at your middle finger until the room stops moving. After a few times practicing you will be able to spin without focusing on your finger as your balance (and your inner ear) gets more tuned.
