Emily has a passion for writing about things that she loves – Pittsburgh, food, and fun!  She also loves sports and playing games.  Emily is eager to get started at BizChicks this summer!

Kirstin Kennedy is a lover of all things literary. As an up-and-coming to writer and senior English Literature/Non- Fiction Writing major, Kirstin loves to explore the beauty that exists in Pittsburgh. She is a full time Arts and Entertainment staff writer for The Pitt News, the University of Pittsburgh’s daily student news paper and is the business administrator of the Pitt Writers Club. Kirstin hopes to pursue a Master of Fine Arts in writing after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh next spring. She loves organic cooking and never turns down heated debate or frivolous banter with friends.

Chelsey Hennemuth was always good in math and science. However, her real expertise was in the art and English departments. It was fitting that she decided to embrace her creative side throughout her college career. Currently, Chelsey studies at Duquesne University, working toward her Master of Science degree in Media Arts and Technology. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design from St. Vincent College in 2010. Her interests include graphic design, writing, advertising, public relations, and everything in between.

Although her class schedule, job and internship keep her pretty busy, she spends her free time at yoga or cardio classes and does enjoy the occasional run. To start off her busy days, she fills her Pittsburgh Penguins travel mug with coffee, showing everyone her Pittsburgh pride. Chelsey likes to end her days by spending time with her family and friends and enjoying a bowl of ice cream. Chelsey also likes to create homemade jewelry, showcasing her creativity and artistic skill. She loves trying new things, like restaurants and fashion trends, but also enjoys traditions, especially those from her family and her hometown. Having the opportunity to travel is one of her dreams but she knows her heart will always be in Pittsburgh.

Chelsey resides in Oakdale, PA with her parents and younger sister.
