The Third Annual Holiday Extravaganza! Our biggest networking/shopping event yet!

“Life’s a Witch!” Held at the Firehouse Lounge in the Strip District, Chicks got their “witch” on with our first ever Halloween Party. Chicks networked in groups while decorating pumpkins and drinking our signature Chick-tinis.

August 2008
“1, 2, 3 Me.” Held at Verve Studios downtown, this event featured speed-networking and gave Chicks the unique opportunity to have professional business photos taken by a local photographer to benefit Music for Life: African Children’s Choir. True to our nature, Chicks also enjoyed mini-massages, and make-up consultations and were provided with information on corporate wellness and bone density screenings.

May 2008
Chicks joined our feathered friends at the National Aviary for where small groups of Chicks toured the National Aviary together, followed by networking, wine and cheese.

February 2008
held at Shape Fitness Center in Market Square showcased a variety of fitness activities, fitness classes and instructors and gave Chicks the chance to try yoga, hip hop, pole dancing and zumba!

Chicks braved the cold to see “The Vagina Monologues” at the Pittsburgh City Theatre.

Another field trip to the Pittsburgh City Theatre, for a viewing of the hilarious play, “The Male Intellect: An Oxymoron”.

Chicks took a walk on the wild side at the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium, where we networked with our human and animal friends while enjoying private access to the zoo and aquarium.

“Cocktails & Connections” held at the Firehouse Lounge featured our typical one-on-one networking and a silent auction to benefit Caregivers, a local not-for-profit organization.

1st Annual Holiday Extravaganza!
With tables of vendors displaying their unique wares, Chicks chatted, networked and took care of some early holiday shopping. Talk about multi-tasking!

Chicks took a field trip to the Pittsburgh City Theatre, where we pre-partied before the show with tarot card readings, massages and shopping before seeing the play “The Good Body”, by Eve Ensler.

Who says networking has to be stressful? At our “Indulgence” Event, Chicks networked and pampered themselves at the same time with spa sessions, chair massages, manicures and make-up consultations.

Chicks kicked up their heels at a quarterly Chicks and Chat event and connected through group salsa lessons, quesadillas and, of course, sangria!

“Dare to Drop Your Hair – Glamour Photos,” again held at Lidia’s Loft featured a deliberate networking activity. Teams of women creatively glammed each other up with old fashioned accessories, vintage hats, costume jewelry and feather boas. We memorialized our pizzazz with glamour shots taken by a local female photographer.

Our first “Chicks & Chat” was held at Lidia’s Loft in the Strip District! We were hoping for twenty and were astounded when over fifty women joined us for networking, wine and nibbles!
