I, for one, as a newcomer to the scene, since meeting you, have learned more about this city, it’s women, it’s happenings, and how you are leading to make a difference.

Thank you for including me in your outreach.

As a relatively new Chick, I want to express what a great networking organization I believe you have developed. This group is not about sitting around with coffee or a drink talking about your organization in order to get leads; I see it as women supporting women in a very unique, fun, and caring way. The events are very appealing, and your newsletter is always informative. I find myself stopping what I am doing to read it as soon as it comes in. There is always some tidbit there that I forward to another person, or tuck away for future reference.

Thank you for all that you do for everyone involved.

Chicks has been a great way for me to network in Pittsburgh. Being a young professional, I have found that the Chicks are always willing to help me make connections to people and information that I might need to help me become successful in the Burgh.

I think that the organization is great. The information provided is educational, spotlights the accomplishments of many Chicks in the PGH. area and the networking events have been great. The group is a positive forces in our negative world.

Through Chicks, I was able to make contact with an entertainer, a wine distributor and potentially a new job. By all means, it should keep going. The event at the Holidays allowed us to spend time with friends and to purchase gifts from local entrepreneurs…..what a great, positive organization.

Chicks & Chat” is like no other professional networking group. The tremendous support given to women by women is fantastic. Beth Slagle and her amazing founding board have found the true formula of giving women the tools to make opportunities for themselves, to allow them to get some visibility and exposure, while at the same time providing critical ways for women to connect and build relationships that will help support them both professionally and personally. I feel truly honored to have been invited to become a “chick” and have been blessed to watch the power of a few women working together to impact not only Pittsburgh, but the world.

I just recently accepted a job offer and will be moving to Boulder, Colorado, and one of the things that gave me ‘pause’ before deciding to accept the position, was my great concern of leaving this incredible networking group. “Chicks & Chat” is one of the ‘true gems’ of Pittsburgh. Thank you to Beth et al, for all you are and all you do to help the women of Pittsburgh!

I have a few stories, most involve meeting one ‘chick’ which led to meeting other cool and influential women. Here are some of my fave ‘chick connections’. At my first chicks event I met YOU and we exchanged contact info. Soon thereafter I contacted you to spread the word about M2M and…the rest is history. Also at that first event I met Judie D., someone I had admired for a long time. She was familiar with SWSG but did not know we had set up an office in Pittsburgh with local staff. I asked her to be on our first advisory council and she has been instrumental in making introductions, particularly in the foundation community. At my second chicks event I met Heidi N. and we have been in conversation [ever since about working together]. BizChicks is tremendous!
