Feathers & Frills ~~ National Aviary, May 8, 2008 |
| Every girl should have a feather boa -- indeed, perhaps one in every color! And feathered we were at the National Aviary at Feathers &
Frills. Thanks to Linda Dickerson, very cool Chick and CEO of the National Aviary, for allowing us to have a play date at the Aviary.
Loved the birdies and look forward to visiting again!

 Welcome to Chicks & Chat, an organization I founded in November 2005, with currently over 400 members and growing daily. Chicks is about women connecting on a personal and professional level through fun networking events. Chicks has four primary events a year, by invitation only, but we also offer a number of other cool "happenings" during the year which spotlight women owned businesses. Chicks is a forum for bringing together women who are business professionals in the for profit and not for profit arenas, as well as the educational and artistic community. It is quite the diverse group in terms of profession as well as age, with attendees ranging in age from mid to late twenties to mid-seventies.

Criteria for Joining Chicks Basic criteria for being part of Chicks ~~ college educated professional, business owner, artist or educator, in a chosen profession for 5 years or more.
