BizChicks started about 5 years ago in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The original concept was networking for business women, and we started with evening networking events called, Chicks & Chat, and expanded to power hour lunches, called BizChicks LunchMixes. With hundreds of members and nonmembers joining us for events, word about BizChicks has gotten around a little bit. We’ve been approached by some individuals not hailing from the ‘burgh about an affiliation or franchise with BizChicks, and we say GO FOR IT! However, isn’t this always the case — there is a process.
